Halloween 2007

Yesterday was Halloween and this was the best year so far. The boys are enjoying themselves more now because they are understanding that they are going to get lots of candy! And even Addey had fun running around filling her bucket...even though the poor thing won't get to eat any of her candy. That just means Craig and I will be getting fatter over the next few weeks! haha Peyton was a skunk, Deaken was a dinosaur, and Addey was a pink poodle. They were all so cute!! First we took some pictures outside before we left. The scarecrow you see is the one that Deaken made at preschool. We then went to the nursing home and enjoyed the carnival and some hot dogs before the trick or treat started. Once that started, the kids buckets didn't take long to fill up. Everyone was so excited to see all the kids and they were putting like 5 pieces of candy in every ones buckets! It was such a blessing to see the joy on everyone face. It makes me sad to think how many of those sweet people have no family come and see them. After we went through, we left and went to FBC's trunk or treat, but it was so packed out and we had plenty of candy already we went and met some friends of ours so we could see each others kids dressed up. Then on we went to my grandparents house (mimi and papa) and got more candy. And then finally, the last stop was grandma and grandpa's house. The kids were so worn out and as soon as we got home, they got their baths and went straight to bed. What a night!!

Hi Abbott Family!

I am so glad you are doing this too! Yep, kristen got me started too! The kids are so cute in their costumes. I think this is such a neat way that we can keep track of each other families.

Welcome to the blogosphere! :) You reminded me that I've been doing this for over two years now - I can't believe it! It's such a great way for distant family to stay current with what we're doing and see new pictures of the kids. My family has loved it. I'm adding you to my blog feed - have fun! :)
